CULINARY DELIGHT

A holiday without delicious food and drinks? Impossible at Oh, le château! It all starts with a good breakfast of French pastries and home made treats. Your taste buds are awakened, the day can begin. In the evening, enjoy the table d'hôtes (five times a week). Depending on the day, we serve a culinary three-course menu, a fresh dinner salad or an extensive platter with bits and bites.

 

Our chef Gerard got his culinary degree in 2016. With love and joy, he conjures up the most beautiful dishes. While Gerard animates the savoury cuisine, Kim takes care of the desserts and Miek makes the sweets for breakfast.

 

If, as a vegetarian in France, you already had too many salads with goats cheese, you are at the right place at Oh, le château! Intolerances, allergies? We gladly take them into account.

 

BREAKFAST

While the birds are giving a concert and the rays of sun promise a beautiful day, you can have a leisurely breakfast on the terrace (or inside depending on the weather). It is a great moment to make plans or just enjoy the new day.

    The jams for the fresh croissant and the syrups for the yoghurt are homemade. Miek's famous granola is also 'fait maison'.  Sweet or savoury, small or big, breakfast offers something for everyone.

THREE COURSE MENU

Creative, fine and delicious, according to guests. Local and seasonal delicacies get a hint of world cuisine here, a classic touch there and are always packed with flavour. Since we also eat with our eyes, we take great care of plating. Have yourself some good wine to match your meal and you will be on fire all evening. After all, you don't need to take the car to this 'restaurant' at home. Bon appétit!

DINNER SALADE + DESSERT

On a hot summer evening, sometimes you especially crave a light, refreshing dinner. That's why once a week we serve a finger-licking good salad. It is a complete, nutritious meal. Feel like something sweet after this vitamin bomb? Then we gladly serve dessert.

SNACK BOARD

If you had a good lunch or if you are just in the mood for picking and nibbling, then stay for the snack board. It is a platter full of different French cheeses, cold meats, a piece of quiche, fruit, tomatoes, olives, nuts, crackers and of course bread. Take it to your favourite spot in the garden, add a drink and enjoy.

HONESTY BAR

Fancy a drink? The honesty bar offers coffee and tea, water and lemonades, wine and beer. At any moment during the day, inside the house or outside in the garden, you can enjoy a warming or refreshing drink. Cheers!

There is a small wine list with regional wines from Gaillac.
